lemon with honey in the garden

A delicate necklace with a lemon chalcedony accompanied by an emerald, suspended on a silk cord.

The finishing elements are made of a 14 carat gold alloy.

The term chalcedony is derived from the name of the ancient Greek town Chalkedon in Asia Minor from where the ancients obtained the stone. Known mining places include Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, India and Brazil.

The first known emeralds were mined in Egypt around 1500 BC. One of Cleopatra's favourite stones was emerald. Emeralds were also discovered in South America in the 16th century by the Spanish. They were used by the Incas well before this discovery.

Length: 48 cm.

Due to the fact that each Elfjoy necklace is hand-made, as a single copy, made of natural stones, it may be slightly different from the one shown in the picture. This does not mean, however, that it will be any less charming.
