bracelet with iolite

Dostawa: 7 dni

120.00 PLN

A delicate bracelet with an iolite  suspended on a subtle silk cord decorated with pyrites. The finishing elements are made of a 14-karat gold alloy.

Iolite is mined in India, China, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and Brazil. Iolite has different colors in different directions in the crystal. This property helped Leif Eriksson and the other legendary Viking explorers that went far out into the Atlantic Ocean to determine the exact position of the sun, and thus navigate safely to the new world and back.

The name “pyrite” comes from the Greek words pyrites lithos, meaning “stone which strikes fire”. The ancient Greeks discovered, that when a hard object was struck with pyrite  sparks were produced. In times gone by, pyrite was used to spark gunpowder in firearms. Pyrites are mined, among others, in Spain, Italy, Peru and Chile.

Bracelet length: 18 cm.

On special request, we can adjust the length of the bracelet. In this case please write the information in the comment box when placing the order.

Due to the fact that each Elfjoy bracelet is hand-made, as a single copy, made of natural stones, it may be slightly different from the one shown in the picture. This does not mean, however, that it will be any less charming.
